You can support the City’s initiative by learning about the project, keeping informed about the latest project news, attending public meetings, and identifying brownfield sites in your area. The City will use feedback received from the community in selecting sites for assessment activity and preparing redevelopment plans.


In 2006, the City of Tifton, Georgia, was awarded a $150,000 grant from the U.S. EPA to assess selected brownfields properties throughout the community. Grant funds are being used for community outreach, environmental assessments and redevelopment planning. Learn more...
