North-East Central Durham "Vision to Action" Workshop

Summary: U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, U.S. Army Corp of Engineers and the city's Office of Economic and Workforce Development will participate in a "Vision to Action" workshop for a North-East Central Durham Brownfields' Assessment Grant on Tuesday.

The event will run from 6-9 p.m. at the city's Department of Neighborhood Improvement Services in the Golden Belt Complex' 3rd floor conference room at 807 E. Main St. The city is seeking public input and participation for the next phase of its Brownfields' Assessment Grant. The workshop is an interactive tool developed by the US. Army Corps of Engineers to gain community input and participation in reclaiming abandoned properties. Participants will be asked to draw and then share their ideas to weave all of the submitted ideas into a shared community vision. No art skills are needed to participate in this workshop.
