Project Kick-Off Meeting

The City of Owensboro hosted the project kick-off meeting for the Brownfield Cleanup Grants awarded to the City.

Summary: Represtentatives of the the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), the Kentucky Department for Environmental Protection (KYDEP), the City of Owensboro, and their brownfield consultant, Concurrent Technologies Corporation (CTC), met on February 19, 2009 for the Project Kick-Off meeting. The meeting was hosted by the City at City Hall along with a tour of the project sites along Allen and E. 9th Streets. The meeting was held in order to allow the stakeholders a chance to meet each other and to lay out a game plan for the cleanup activities on the properties.
