1,230 Tons of Fly Ash Removed

As of Friday, August 15, approximately 1,230 tons of fly ash material has been removed from the site.

Summary: Under contract with Concurrent Technologies Corporation (CTC), EMES, LLC has removed approximately 1,230 tons of fly ash from the former Riegel Textile Mill Fly Ash landfill. This work is being performed by funding from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) with a Brownfield Cleanup Grant to the Town of Ware Shoals.
