Brownfields are abandoned or underutilized properties where redevelopment is hindered by real or perceived environmental contamination. Putting these properties back into productive use stimulates economic development while protecting the environment.

You can help! You can support the Town’s initiative by learning about the project, keeping informed about the latest project news, attending public meetings, and identifying brownfield sites in your area. The Town will use feedback received from the community in selecting sites for assessment activity and preparing redevelopment plans.
