Property Owners Meeting for Multi-Parcel Phase I Environmental Assessment

The City of Greenville and consultants, Concurrent Technologies Corporation and Duncklee & Dunham, will be holding a property owners meeting on Monday, February 1, 2010, to discuss a planned Phase I Environmental Site Assessment for multiple parcels in Greenville’s Center City near the eastern end of the 10th Street Connector project. Properties between Dickinson Avenue and Washington Street from West 8th to 10th Streets will be included. Each of the property owners and tenants in the project area received a letter informing them of the planned activities and an invitation to attend the meeting. Additional information on the planned Phase I Environmental Site Assessment will be presented, and opportunities to ask questions about the process will be provided. CTC issues Request for Qualifications for New Grant

The Congaree Coalition (City of Columbia, City of West Columbia, Columbia Development Corporation, Eau Claire Development Corporation, Columbia Housing Development Corporation and Two Notch Development Corporation) received a $1 million brownfields assessment grant in early spring 2009. The Coalition's grant management consultant, CTC, is issuing a Request For Qualifications to consultants for assistance with Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs), Phase II ESAs, Asbestos Surveys, and Lead Based Paint Surveys.
